About Back Forty Action

Back Forty Action is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit born from a belief that real change begins in America’s small towns and family farms. Our name honors the “back forty” – that patch of land just beyond the homestead that symbolizes untapped potential and hard work. We champion legislation that strengthens rural life: from expanding high-speed internet to improving healthcare and education in local communities.

Advocate Support Fund

We also need to raise money to bring elderly and disabled rural advocates to Washington, D.C. to tell their personal stories. These expenses are quite high but are critical to the success of the event.
